The TREE OF LIFE Food Pantry began operation March 25, 2009. We are growing & serving the Merchantville/Pennsauken area.
Regardless of residence or financial status, everyone expressing a need for food will leave with some. However, those who qualify as "low income" according to government standards, are eligible for additional foodstuffs that others are not allowed to receive from us. People from other communities will receive food from us and also be referred to a food pantry nearest their own residence.

 HOW CAN YOU HELP?
TREE OF LIFE FOOD PANTRY is a non profit mission outreach to help stop hunger. Through our affiliation with the Food Bank of South Jersey we are able to purchase food for a mere $.16 per pound. A literal "ton" of food can be secured for only $320.00 In addition we are eligible for US Department of Agriculture food through both Federal and State programs.
Financial contributions are needed & are tax deductable.
Checks may be made payable to "First Baptist Church" with "Food Pantry" on the memo line.
Volunteers to help register clients & to pick-up and distribute food are needed. Please call Pastor Andrew at 856-665-1919.
